Terms & refund policy

These terms cover anything you buy from WEVO (Wedding & Event Vendors of Ontario) and how you use wevocanada.com. We've kept them short and in plain language. Questions? Email hellowevo@gmail.com and we'll reply within 1 business day.

Prices

All prices are in Canadian dollars. WEVO doesn't currently charge HST. If that changes, the tax will be shown clearly before you pay.

Directory listings

  • WEVO Basic is billed once a year, in advance.
  • WEVO Verified and WEVO Pro are billed monthly, in advance, and you can cancel anytime.
  • Founding Vendor offer: your first 3 months are paid once, up front. After that, your plan renews at the regular monthly price. We email you 7 days before your first regular payment so there are no surprises.
  • Cancelling: email us anytime. Your listing stays up until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund partial months or years.
  • If a payment fails, we email you the same day. If it's still unpaid after 7 days, your listing is paused, and it goes back up as soon as the payment goes through.
  • Our standards: we check every listing by hand before it goes live. If we can't approve a new listing, we refund you in full. We may also remove a listing that is inactive, misleading, or breaks the WEVO community rules. If we remove a listing for any other reason, we refund any full months you've paid for and not used.

WEVO Growth

WEVO Growth is billed monthly, in advance. You can cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. Work already planned or delivered for the current month isn't refundable.

Client Message Kits

  • Ready-to-use kits are digital downloads delivered right after you pay, so all sales are final. If your download doesn't work or you were charged twice, email us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund you.
  • Written-for-you kits: cancel before we start writing and we'll refund you in full. Once writing has started, the order can't be refunded. One round of changes is included.
  • Using your kit: it's for your own business. Please don't resell, share or republish it.

Couples and event hosts

Our planning tools, guides and vendor recommendations are free. We check every directory business by hand, but WEVO isn't part of any agreement between you and a vendor and can't guarantee their work. Always read your contract, ask questions and get everything in writing before you pay a deposit.

The legal part

We work hard to keep this website accurate and running, but it is provided as is. If something goes wrong, WEVO's responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the problem. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. We may update them from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
